MCB Bank, PITB and Mastercard Partner for Digital Payments Boost in Pakistan

MCB Bank has announced a strategic partnership with the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) and Mastercard to revolutionize digital payments in Pakistan.

The collaboration aims to integrate Mastercard’s advanced payment solutions with PITB’s Payzen platform, offering users faster, more secure, and convenient transaction capabilities. This partnership is expected to significantly enhance financial inclusion and drive economic growth in the country.

Speaking at the partnership launch, MCB Bank’s Group Head of Digital Banking, Shahzad Ishaq, expressed enthusiasm about the potential of this collaboration to transform the digital payment landscape. PITB’s ADG Khurram Mushtaq echoed this sentiment, highlighting the partnership’s role in streamlining government and private transactions.

The agreement was signed by representatives from all three organizations at MCB Bank’s headquarters.
