Ahmed J. Vaseer, Chief Executive Officer of Ingenious Concepts, has announced his candidacy for a seat on the PASHA Central Executive Committee for the 2026 to 2028 term, contesting from the Associate membership category. Vaseer has spent more than ten years as a technology entrepreneur in Pakistan’s IT sector, building and leading technology businesses while working with local and international organizations, and he has framed his candidacy around expanding market access, building trust in the industry, and strengthening representation for Associate members specifically.

His manifesto opens with a commitment to global tech liaisons, proposing to build and strengthen PASHA’s relationships with international technology associations, trade organizations, diaspora networks and business communities in order to expand market access, investment and exports for member companies. His second point focuses on positioning gaming and digital content as major export industries in their own right, aiming to enable Pakistani game developers, artists and studios to compete and grow on a global scale rather than remaining a secondary category within the broader technology sector. On cybersecurity, he wants to strengthen industry capacity around data protection and regulatory readiness, arguing that this would build greater trust, resilience and global credibility for PASHA’s members.

The remaining two points of his platform address representation and workforce development. Vaseer wants to listen directly to Associate members, understand the specific challenges they face, and ensure that their collective voice reaches the appropriate forums within PASHA rather than being overshadowed by larger corporate members. His final commitment centers on building stronger pathways between industry, academia and talent through practical skills development, mentorship, industry exposure and globally relevant certifications.

Vaseer’s candidacy comes as PASHA members prepare to vote on September 17, 2026, for the ten open seats of the Central Executive Committee, with two additional reserved seats for women entrepreneurs to be filled the following day by the newly elected committee. Based on the Election Commission’s regional structure, voting is expected to be coordinated across Islamabad and Rawalpindi, Lahore, and Karachi, where PASHA maintains its secretariat and regional offices. Voting will take place through secret ballot between 9 am and 5 pm, with original CNIC or passport required for identity verification at polling stations. The complete final voters list for the 2026 elections is available on the PASHA final voter list, and more information about Vaseer’s professional background can be found on his LinkedIn profile.
