Jazz received the highest number of complaints among Pakistan’s cellular mobile operators in August 2026, according to data from the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA). The regulator received a total of 7,546 complaints from telecom consumers during the month, of which 7,159, or 94.87%, were resolved. Cellular mobile operators accounted for the largest share, with 6,774 complaints recorded and 6,488, or 95.8%, resolved during the month.

Jazz recorded 3,592 complaints in August, making it the operator with the highest complaint volume among the four major cellular companies. Of these complaints, 3,463 were resolved, representing a resolution rate of 96.41%. Zong followed with 1,183 complaints and resolved 1,148 cases, giving it a resolution rate of 97.04%. Telenor recorded 1,099 complaints, of which 1,043 were resolved, while Ufone received 869 complaints and addressed 806. Their respective resolution rates were 95% for Telenor and 92.75% for Ufone.

Beyond cellular mobile operators, PTA recorded 105 complaints related to basic telephony services during August. The regulator reported that 97 of these complaints were resolved, resulting in a resolution rate of 92.4%. Internet service providers also accounted for a significant portion of consumer complaints, with 667 cases registered during the month. Of these, 574 complaints, or 86.1%, were resolved. The figures cover different segments of Pakistan’s telecommunications sector and reflect the complaints submitted through the regulator’s consumer complaint system.

The August figures come as PTA continues to monitor service quality and consumer issues across Pakistan’s telecom industry. Separate PTA quality-of-service findings for the second quarter of 2026 showed that cellular operators collectively achieved 85% compliance in mobile broadband, while coverage, voice and SMS services recorded compliance rates of 98%, 92% and 97%, respectively. The regulator assessed all four cellular operators against licensed service benchmarks across 11 major cities. The latest complaint data, meanwhile, shows that while the majority of reported cases were resolved, cellular operators continue to account for the largest portion of complaints received by PTA.
