Ignite – National Technology Fund, in partnership with Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), has announced a landmark opportunity for Pakistani startups working in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Big Data, and Data Analytics. The program will sponsor selected startups to showcase their innovations at the upcoming AI & Big Data Expo Europe, scheduled for September 24–25, 2025, in Amsterdam.

The initiative aims to amplify Pakistan’s presence in the global technology arena by providing promising startups with international exposure, access to top-tier industry leaders, and potential pathways to funding. For many participants, this event is poised to be more than a showcase; it could serve as a launchpad for new collaborations and partnerships across borders.

Startups selected through this program will receive full sponsorship, including an exhibition pod at the expo. This support will allow them to display their products and solutions alongside leading global innovators, investors, and researchers in the rapidly expanding AI and big data sector.

The AI & Big Data Expo Europe is regarded as one of the world’s premier technology events, attracting thousands of professionals and decision-makers from around the globe. With its focus on emerging technologies, the expo offers a unique platform for Pakistani entrepreneurs to present their innovations in a highly competitive international market.

In addition to a sponsored exhibition pod, Ignite and TDAP are offering participating startups several valuable opportunities. These include direct access to global tech leaders and venture capitalists, participation in expert-led sessions and technical workshops, and structured B2B matchmaking designed to connect startups with potential investors and collaborators. The program is expected to significantly boost the global visibility of Pakistan’s AI ecosystem and strengthen its integration into the international tech community.

To qualify for the sponsorship program, startups must meet a set of eligibility criteria. They must be registered and actively operating in Pakistan, be less than five years old, and listed on startupconnect.pk. Additionally, applicants must not have previously received international sponsorship from Ignite. These requirements ensure that the opportunity benefits emerging startups that have yet to make their mark globally.

The deadline for applications is set for August 8, 2025, leaving a short window for interested startups to prepare their submissions. With global attention on AI-driven solutions continuing to rise, the timing of the initiative underscores Pakistan’s intent to position itself as a serious player in the field.

Ignite has long played a central role in advancing the country’s innovation ecosystem, while TDAP has been instrumental in supporting local enterprises to explore international markets. By joining forces, the two organizations are signaling a strong commitment to backing high-potential startups that can showcase Pakistan’s technological talent on a world stage.

For Pakistani startups working in AI, ML, and data-driven technologies, this sponsorship program represents a rare chance to step onto the global platform, engage with international investors, and contribute to shaping the future of digital innovation.
