Event JunkIT: Showing The Digital Tech Era – GroupM Organizes Digital Day 2017

After the success of Digital Day 2016, GroupM is back with Digital Day 2017 titled ‘NextM – Vision on What is Next’. GroupM has been one of the forefront runners to drive digitization in the industry in Pakistan over the past few years.

They also introduced international partners who have previously not been given a platform to showcase their advanced solutions. Amongst many of the international partners were Google, Inmobi, & Xaxis.

The set up on the digital day took on to a completely different world that showcased how GroupM envisions the digital tech era in the country. GroupM Digital Head Amna Khatib Paracha on the occasion welcoming the attendees said,

“At GroupM, we are always a step ahead in understanding and shaping the digital landscape of Pakistan. We will continue to showcase our lead in terms of expertise and Regional Strength via Digital Day and our innovative Digital Business solutions.”

At the Digital Day 2017, GroupM had created four special zones for the guests to explore such as Programmatic, where Xaxis the world’s largest programmatic audience data buying company, gave an in-depth presentation on what is programmatic, efficiency of online audience buying and how it can be used for our market to make out ads smarter. The Social Zone comprising of GroupM’s social listening tool that keeps a tab on online talk-ability and topics.

The content zone consisted of the top content creators from some of which included Food Fusion, Mangobaaz, Parhlo, Iflix, Fun Ka Kaam, Toffee TV, Patari, Team Muhafiz, TV One, AAJ TV, and Dawn and Mobile Zone that showcased some of the newest mobile solutions such as InMobi, Telenor, Jazz, Convex, TPL Trakker, and Planet Beyond.
