LUMS Marketing Executive Club organized their signature event “Marketing Colloquium ’17 with the theme “Collaborative Marketing: Value Creation Strategy or a Marketing Ploy” over two days at the end of March 2017.

Annual events like the LUMS Marketing Colloquium help students capture the goldmine of first-hand knowledge through speaker sessions, panel discussions, various competitions and networking opportunities.

Characteristically, the MBA Marketing Colloquium consisted of the following events:

  • Ad Effect: design script and create an advertisement, which will be judged by a panel of advertising gurus and industry representatives.
  • Brand Wars: teams will work on real-time marketing issues faced by various companies and then will be presenting their recommendations to those very companies
  • Brand Plan: a unique opportunity to prepare a comprehensive brand plan for the given brand, in respect to its target audience.

The event also saw panel discussions by industry experts such as Mr. Mian Taimoor Ahmad, Marketing Manager at Careem Pakistan; Mr. Babar Abdul Sattar, Managing Director at IPSOS Pakistan; and Mr. Rashid Pervez Mughal, Marketing Head at Creative Dots.

The event winded up with all attendees of the conference at a social evening and concert!
