GBG Peshawar Brings WomenWill Back To Pakistan

Google Business Group (GBG) Peshawar is a community that aims towards the synergism of ideas, skills and creativity of various professionals for the optimal use of Google products. Basically the idea is to engage young professionals and entrepreneurs to establish update and profile their businesses online simultaneously driving new ideas, which are centered towards regional growth and stability.

Due to their outstanding performance and contribution to the local community in Pakistan, GBG Peshawar has been recognized as one of the top 10 Google Business Groups across the world.

In September 2017, GBG Peshawar was elected to run the pilot program of WomenWill, a program only held in four other countries. This year, they are proud to announce that they are bringing the event back to Peshawar. The first workshop will be conducted on 30th March 2018 at the newly launched National Incubation Center, Peshawar. WomenWill is a Google initiative that aims to create economic opportunities for women everywhere, so that they can grow and succeed.

The partners for the event are National Incubation Center, Peshawar, Peshawar 2.0, CECOS University and Impact Dynamics, and we are proud to announce that PC World Pakistan and IDG are on board as Technology Media Partners for the series as well.

Furthermore, GBG Peshawar has previously partnered with the local government and the private sector to build a community of professionals and support local entrepreneurs through workshops and speaker sessions.

and the speakers for WomenWill include Saad Hamid, CEO Demo; Salma Jafri, Founder of the #BeTheMedia Mastermind – a video training academy for entrepreneurs; Maryam Arshad, founder and Director Impacts Dynamic; and Samar Hasan, Cofounder Epiphany. Previously, IDG Pakistan has had the honor of being Knowledge & Technology Media Partners for their pilot event and is proud to announce the continued relation with GBG Peshawar and their initiatives.
