Google Business Group Lahore Makes A Comeback

The newly revived Google Business Group (GBG) Lahore hosted a meetup in collaboration with investment firm Fatima Ventures, to gather together Lahore’s emerging technology sector. The event brought together 60+ founders, innovators, educators, marketers and investors. GBG Lahore is a group of business professionals who are interested to learn and become more successful in using the internet for their business.

This event marks the start of GBG Lahore with its new team and leadership, with Arzish Azam, Founder and CEO JustPrice taking the lead on this chapter. GBG Lahore was brought to Pakistan by Amer Sarfraz and Badar Khushnood of Bramerz and the Lahore chapter of Google Business Group is now being revived by young technology entrepreneur Arzish Azam with a team of passionate tech professionals.

At the event, GBG Lahore Manager officially sealed their partnership with Fatima Ventures as well as Innovation District 92 to collaborate on further initiatives to promote the technology sector of Lahore. Fatima Ventures, led by Ali Mukhtar, is one of Pakistan’s leading investment firms, which is actively looking for startups to invest in. IDG Pakistan is proud to be supporting the GBG Lahore activities as a knowledge partner.

GBG Lahore Manager said,

“We hope to organize more meetups, workshops and sessions to grow the already emerging technology sector of Lahore as well provide opportunities for people to adopt technology using Google technologies in their professions and businesses. Our collaboration with strong ecosystem players including Fatima Ventures, Innovation District 92 and IDG Pakistan are in line with our vision to bring collaborative innovation to Lahore.”
