Pakistan’s first eCommerce awards, which featured over 400 eCommerce websites across 11 categories, were a success, with the host team thanking all of the wonderful partners and participants who helped make this effort a success.

The People’s Choice Awards got over 108,683 votes, making it a fantastic race. The honours were separated into two categories: Founders’ Choice and People’s Choice.

All of the nominees acknowledged their thanks and honour at being a part of such an exciting event. There were several great victors, but many others were not far behind and deserved to be recognised.

In the Grocery category, Naheed.pk received an honourable mention, as did JOMO as a New eCommerce Startup 2020, which only received a few votes.

The awards drew to a close with hopes for a bigger and better event next year, as well as a desire to make it an annual event. All eCommerce players and online sellers can register for next year’s awards at www.ecom-awards.com.

CWPK Legacy
Launched in 1967 internationally, ComputerWorld is the oldest tech magazine/media property in the world. In Pakistan, ComputerWorld was launched in 1995. Initially providing news to IT executives only, once CIO Pakistan, its sister brand from the same family, was launched and took over the enterprise reporting domain in Pakistan, CWPK has emerged as a holistic technology media platform reporting everything tech in the country. It remains the oldest continuous IT publishing brand in the country and in 2025 is set to turn 30 years old, which will be its biggest benchmark and a legacy it hopes to continue for years to come. CWPK is part of the SPIN/IDG Wakhan media umbrella.
