EPTL has reinforced its commitment to knowledge development and talent nurturing by signing a Memorandum of Understanding with NED University of Engineering and Technology. The agreement reflects a shared focus on bridging the gap between academic learning and industry requirements, particularly within Pakistan’s evolving energy sector. By formalizing this collaboration, both organizations aim to create structured pathways that allow students, faculty members, and industry professionals to engage in meaningful knowledge exchange, research driven learning, and skills development aligned with real world demands.

The MoU outlines a framework through which EPTL and NEDUET will work together to promote innovation and applied learning. This collaboration is expected to support joint initiatives such as mentorship programs, industry guided projects, internships, and exposure to practical workplace environments. EPTL’s involvement brings industry insight into academic settings, enabling students to gain a clearer understanding of operational realities, emerging technologies, and professional expectations within the energy domain. At the same time, the university’s research capabilities and academic expertise are positioned to contribute to problem solving and innovation that can support industry growth.

A key objective of the partnership is to enhance workplace readiness among graduates by aligning academic curricula with industry needs. Through structured engagement, students will have opportunities to develop technical competencies as well as professional skills required for successful careers in the energy sector. Mentorship from experienced professionals is expected to play an important role in shaping student perspectives, improving employability, and encouraging a culture of continuous learning. The collaboration also creates opportunities for faculty members to engage with industry practices, ensuring that teaching and research remain relevant to current market trends and technological developments.

EPTL’s continued investment in knowledge driven initiatives highlights its broader approach to sustainable growth within the energy sector. By supporting industry academia collaboration, the company is contributing to the development of a skilled talent pipeline capable of addressing future challenges. The partnership with NEDUET also reflects a growing recognition across the private sector that long term progress depends on collaboration with educational institutions. As innovation, mentorship, and practical exposure become increasingly important, such agreements are expected to play a vital role in strengthening Pakistan’s human capital and supporting the energy sector’s ongoing transformation.
