Easypaisa announced the integration of Raast Person-to-Merchant (P2M) on its platform. This collaboration with the State Bank of Pakistan’s Raast system aims to simplify digital payments for businesses and consumers, accelerating the country’s digital financial inclusion journey.

Raast P2M system allows easypaisa users to scan and pay instantly using any Raast P2M QR code nationwide. Businesses benefit from real-time settlements, open-loop static and dynamic QR codes, and the ability to accept payments through any digital banking app or wallet using Raast.

“Integrating Raast P2M amplifies our mission to create a financially inclusive Pakistan,” said Farhan Hassan, Head of easypaisa Wallet Business. The service offers features like request-to-pay, alias-based payments, and a robust dispute resolution mechanism for secure transactions.

Easypaisa’s QR SoundBox, launched earlier this year, plays a crucial role in accelerating digital payment adoption by providing real-time communication between merchants and customers. With over 40 million registered mobile accounts, easypaisa remains committed to empowering businesses and consumers through innovative financial solutions.
