Dice Analytics Graduates 150 Students as Data Analysts

On January 21st 2018, Dice Analytics hosted “Convocation 2018” their annual certificates distribution ceremony. The event was organized in honor of the 150 students from different universities and organizations who completed Data Analytics related training with Dice Analytics throughout 2017.

Guest Speakers, from renowned telecom and data analytics companies, spoke to the audience and presented awards to the students. Students and Industry specialists networked with each other over lunch, and explored different opportunities.

Umer Chaudhry, CEO Dice Analysts kicked off the event by highlighting the vision and objectives of the organization. He told that Dice Analytics came into being with a vision to help organizations leverage the power of data analytics for a rapid growth.

He further added that we are bridging the gap between academia and industry by training the students and giving them hands-on experience of the industry’s real needs. He welcomed the guest speakers, instructors, and students and appreciated their enthusiasm at the event.

Students participated in the following 6-weeks professional courses: Big Data, Data Science, Business Intelligence, and Data Analytics Ecosystem.

Mr. Muntazir Mehdi, Senior Manager Business Intelligence at Zong, had a dialogue on Data-Driven Marketing and distributed certificates among Data Warehouse Ecosystem students

Mr. Saif, Associate Director at S&P Global talked about “How S&P Global is converting Data into Business” and also distributed certificates among Business Intelligence Students. The third Guest Speaker, Mr. Usman Waheed, Head of System Engineering at Jazz, spoke about the open source technologies being used at Jazz also presented certificates and presents among Data Science and Big Data Students. Mr. Imtiaz, CEO of Inavista Solutions, a U.S based company, spoke about the importance of Business Intelligence in ERP systems.
