DCO Celebrates Women Leading the Charge in Digital Diplomacy; Celebrating Pakistan IT Minister

On International Day of Women in Diplomacy, celebrated on 24th June, the Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO) proudly shines a light on the exceptional women shaping the digital landscape within its Member States.

The DCO Council boasts an impressive 31% female representation, with five Member States currently led by remarkable women serving the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) industry. These trailblazing leaders are Deemah AlYahya (KSA/DCO) Shaza Fatima Khawaja (Government of Pakistan), Paula Ingabire (Rwanda), Ghita Mezzour, PhD (Morocco), Hon. Ursula Owusu Ekuful (Ghana), and Mariam Hamadou (Niger).

These inspiring women demonstrate the crucial role women play in driving the DCO’s digital agenda forward. Their expertise bridges the gap between diplomacy and technology, paving the way for a more inclusive and innovative future.The DCO is committed to fostering female leadership in the digital economy.
