KARACHI – Daraz, South Asia’s leading e-commerce platform, has announced the launch of its latest last-mile delivery solution under Daraz Express (DEX), its logistics division established in 2018. The new service enables non-platform brands and sellers across Pakistan to benefit from advanced logistics support designed to be faster, reliable, and technology-driven. The initiative expands DEX’s reach beyond Daraz’s own platform, giving independent brands access to one of Pakistan’s most extensive and data-backed delivery networks. By focusing on automation and smart logistics, DEX aims to help businesses strengthen their delivery infrastructure while maintaining operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Daraz Express has built a logistics ecosystem centered around innovation and scalability. The network operates Pakistan’s first Smart Distribution Center and remains the only logistics system in the country running two commercial auto-sorters. These automated systems process more than 10,000 parcels every hour, with the ability to scale operations to manage nearly one million parcels daily. The integration of AI route planning, predictive analytics, and real-time parcel tracking ensures faster and more accurate fulfillment, minimizing delivery times while maintaining transparency for both sellers and buyers. This expansion responds to the growing need for efficient logistics services that support brands outside the Daraz ecosystem, addressing a major gap in the country’s e-commerce supply chain.

Further strengthening this solution, DEX has partnered with major commerce enablers such as Ginkgo, Unity Retail, and Trade Unleashed, allowing seamless integration for local and fashion brands including Alkaram, MTJ, LOGO, ECS, NDURE, Edenrobe, Jenpharm, Beechtree, Nishat, Stylo, and Sapphire. Through these collaborations, DEX enhances operational efficiency, with local deliveries completed within 24 hours and inter-provincial deliveries reaching customers within 72 hours. The service maintains a successful delivery rate of more than 90 percent, supported by data-driven optimization that helps businesses scale while ensuring consistent performance and reliability.

To assist sellers in maintaining stable cash flow, DEX offers multiple weekly cash-on-delivery (COD) settlements, providing real-time payout visibility. This allows faster reinvestment into business operations and supports sellers’ long-term growth. Commenting on the development, Ahmed Tanveer, Chief Logistics Officer at Daraz Group, stated that DEX is redefining last-mile delivery across South Asia by offering scalable, efficient, and data-led delivery solutions. He emphasized that DEX’s mission is to simplify logistics, improve customer experience, and foster a connected delivery ecosystem that supports sustainable business expansion.

BeechTree, one of Pakistan’s leading apparel brands, highlighted the positive impact of working with DEX, noting that faster delivery timelines and improved tracking have significantly optimized its operations. Covering more than 100 major cities nationwide, DEX’s expanding network continues to provide brands and sellers with the tools needed to reach new markets and strengthen their logistics capabilities. Through this initiative, Daraz Express is reinforcing its commitment to advancing Pakistan’s e-commerce landscape by providing accessible and efficient logistics solutions that empower growth, efficiency, and digital trade connectivity across the region.
