Global Web3 developer Wemade has announced a significant addition to its WEMIX PLAY platform with CricketFly, the world’s first Web3 cricket game, developed by Gamifly. With over 3 million players since its September 2022 launch, CricketFly has surged to #2 on DappRadar’s top blockchain game rankings.

CricketFly boasts futuristic versions of real players, such as Pakistani international cricketer Shadab Khan, who also serves as the game’s official ambassador. The game sets itself apart with state-of-the-art graphics, rich content, and advanced gameplay mechanics, including PvP and Tournament modes. Its user-friendly interface ensures a seamless experience for players of all skill levels.

As a new addition to WEMIX PLAY’s global community, Gamifly joins developers from various countries, further diversifying the platform’s offerings. Since its 2022 launch, WEMIX PLAY has signed over 130 onboarding deals for Web3 games across different genres.

In addition to standard GameFi services like exchange, staking, swap, pool, and bridge, WEMIX PLAY provides a marketplace for trading NFTs and a Drops feature for developers to launch new collections.

Wemade, a pioneer in Korean PC online and mobile game development, leads the next wave of Web3 game developers using blockchain technology. Their WEMIX3.0 Mainnet-based WEMIX PLAY is the world’s largest blockchain gaming platform with millions of users, offering a diverse range of game genres.

Through its Singapore-based WEMIX blockchain subsidiary, Wemade aims to drive mass adoption of blockchain technology by creating a mega-ecosystem that provides intuitive, convenient, and easy-to-use Web3 services.

CWPK Legacy
Launched in 1967 internationally, ComputerWorld is the oldest tech magazine/media property in the world. In Pakistan, ComputerWorld was launched in 1995. Initially providing news to IT executives only, once CIO Pakistan, its sister brand from the same family, was launched and took over the enterprise reporting domain in Pakistan, CWPK has emerged as a holistic technology media platform reporting everything tech in the country. It remains the oldest continuous IT publishing brand in the country and in 2025 is set to turn 30 years old, which will be its biggest benchmark and a legacy it hopes to continue for years to come.
