Philanthropist and Microsoft co-founder, Bill Gates has reportedly written a letter to the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan in which he has expressed his intentions and interest in investing in the Information Technology Sector of Pakistan.
According to sources, the President of Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation’s President had called the Prime Minister on Tuesday and sent over the letter via a messenger. The letter stated that his company is interested in exploring investment opportunities in Pakistan’s IT Sector. The World Health Organization (WHO) Chief was also present at the occasion.
Furthermore, Bill Gates applauded the PM’s efforts in the fight to eradicate polio from the country and mentioned the intentions of the Gates foundation to invest in the health sector.
It is to be noted Bill Gates has also spoken to the Premier on phone in early December and had shown his willingness to work together in future. The Prime Minister welcomed and invited Gates to explore investment opportunities in Pakistan.
