Atomcamp has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Technology Board, known as KPITB, to upskill youth and the broader workforce across the province through dedicated Agentic AI and AI literacy workshops targeting both the public sector and academia. The signing ceremony was held in the presence of the Secretary for the Department of Science and Technology, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and was attended by community members and students from various universities in Peshawar, reflecting the grassroots interest in artificial intelligence education that has been building within the province’s technology community.

The agreement was signed by Naveed Iftikhar, Founder of Atomcamp, and Dr. Akif Khan, PhD, Project Management Professional and Certified Government Evaluator in Information Technology, who serves as Managing Director of the KPITB. Under the terms of the memorandum of understanding, Atomcamp will work alongside the KPITB to design and deliver training programs specifically focused on Agentic AI, a fast-growing area of artificial intelligence development in which systems are built to operate autonomously across multi-step tasks, and on broader AI literacy for participants who may not have deep technical backgrounds but need to understand and work alongside artificial intelligence tools in professional and academic environments. The workshops will be offered to participants across the public sector and in universities, aiming to build a baseline of practical AI knowledge across two of the most influential institutional categories in the province.

Atomcamp has maintained an active presence in Peshawar and the broader Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region since its founding, building a community of developers, students, and professionals interested in emerging technology through events, workshops, and training programs. The partnership with KPITB formalizes and scales that community engagement, giving Atomcamp access to the board’s institutional reach and government networks while providing KPITB with a proven training partner that has hands-on experience delivering AI education to Pakistani audiences. The initiative is part of Atomcamp’s wider strategy of collaborating with government organizations across Pakistan to bring artificial intelligence skills development to youth and the workforce at a provincial level, with the organization signalling that further engagements in Peshawar and across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are planned in the coming months.
