By linking driver identity verification to a scannable QR code, the app is intended to give commuters a quick way to confirm they are traveling with a registered, vetted driver rather than relying solely on visual identification or word of mouth trust.
Police have advised drivers to complete their registration by contacting their respective Traffic Wardens or visiting a designated Pehchaan Desk, with Abbottabad Traffic Police personnel available to provide guidance and assistance throughout the process. The department has urged all eligible drivers to register with the app as part of a broader effort to build what it described as a safer driver community and a more secure Abbottabad.
