Zong, Pakistan’s leading information services and technology innovation company, has reinforced its commitment to digital intelligence and sustainable development by extending its collaboration with Knowledge Platform, now in its fourth year. The renewed partnership was formalized at a signing ceremony at Zong headquarters, highlighting the company’s strategic focus on using technology to enhance educational outcomes and bridge learning gaps in underserved communities. Through this collaboration, Zong continues to scale its flagship Digital Scholars Program, which targets Grades 9 and 10 and transforms conventional education models into technology-enabled learning experiences.
The Digital Scholars Program integrates interactive digital classrooms, gamified content, AI-powered analytics, and structured online learning, allowing for personalized instruction, real-time performance tracking, and greater engagement for both students and educators. By the end of 2025, the initiative had enrolled 35,000 in-school students, provided 5,000 young women with digital literacy and financial skills through gamified learning experiences, and certified 7,500 students. The program aims to expand in 2026 to reach an additional 50,000 students, demonstrating significant growth in access and impact.
Since its inception, the program has reached students across 300 schools in 42 cities spanning all five provinces, offering two primary learning streams: an online Math Tutoring Program and a comprehensive English and Science Self-Study Program covering Biology, Chemistry, Physics, General Science, and Mathematics. Sitarey, a platform of digital learning games and competitions, complements these streams by promoting engagement and interactive learning. Recognizing the critical role of educators, Zong has trained 150 teachers in digital instruction and blended learning, ensuring seamless integration of technology in classrooms while enhancing student participation, analytical thinking, and learning outcomes.
Commenting on the initiative, Andleeb Aslam, official spokesperson at Zong, said that sustainability encompasses enabling long-term social and economic progress through technology. She noted that the Digital Scholars Program reflects this commitment by equipping students and educators with future-ready skills and digital tools. Strategic partnerships with organizations like Knowledge Platform allow Zong to create scalable and lasting impact, strengthening learning ecosystems, expanding access to quality education, and empowering individuals to progress beyond the classroom. The program underscores Zong’s continued role in shaping opportunities that bridge digital divides and foster meaningful development across Pakistan.
