The team scored 109 points in the final rounds, securing $80,000 in prize money. When combined with their earlier group stage earnings of $77,000, the total winnings stood at $157,000—over Rs4 crore—making this one of the most lucrative tournament runs by a Pakistan-based Esports team.
Falak Sher, known in-game as “FALAK,” emerged as a key performer for 4Thrives. He ranked sixth among the top fraggers and was third overall in damage dealt during the finals. The team’s qualification journey started with a consistent showing in the survival stage, earning them a direct entry into the grand finals. In the group stage, 4Thrives secured second place overall with 111 kills, 65 eliminations, and two Chicken Dinners, showcasing their ability to compete with the world’s best.
This marks a historic achievement for Pakistan as 4Thrives became the first local PUBG Mobile team to reach the finals of an S-tier PUBG Mobile event. The current roster includes Falak Sher “FALAK,” Sameer Khan “Nocki,” Hasnain Rehman “T24OP,” Shayan Asad “IQ,” and Niash Hassan “CAIRO.” Usman Tariq, also known as “SHAHEEN,” serves as the team’s manager and analyst. IQ functions as the in-game leader, while FALAK also holds ownership of the team.
4Thrives was formed on December 1, 2024, and reached the global stage in under nine months—a rapid rise that sets them apart from other teams. What makes their success even more significant is their independent operation. The team has no external sponsorship and manages all aspects of its operations internally. While most top-tier teams benefit from organizational support, 4Thrives has relied solely on its skill and dedication.
The team’s rise began with a third-place finish at PMSL CSA Spring 2025, where they earned $18,750 and qualified for the Esports World Cup. Their steady climb through domestic competitions such as PMNC Pakistan laid the foundation for this international breakthrough. Their success at PMWC has now positioned them as strong candidates for a partner team slot in the upcoming PMSL Fall 2025. Additionally, their current PMGC points offer them a good chance to qualify for the PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2025.
The PMWC is part of the wider Esports World Cup (EWC) 2025, which includes titles such as Valorant, Tekken, Free Fire, and Dota 2. This year’s PMWC featured a $3 million prize pool, drawing elite teams from across the globe. The broader EWC pool stands at $70 million, reflecting the continued global rise of Esports and its growing impact in markets like Pakistan, where teams like 4Thrives are proving their place on the world stage.
