NASTP Space Camp, powered by STREAM Academy International and AshreiTech Academy at the National Aerospace Science & Technology Park (NASTP), is set to take students on an exciting educational adventure as part of World Space Week. This immersive camp offers young minds the opportunity to explore space science, technology, and Mars exploration through hands-on activities, cutting-edge technologies, and expert guidance.

The camp is designed for students aged 7 to 13, aiming to spark their interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) by providing real-world experiences centered around space exploration. Participants will engage in challenges such as coding a Mars Rover using AI simulation, exploring the use of AR/VR technology for space exploration, and conducting research on Mars and Earth. They will also simulate Martian climates and develop strategies to terraform Mars, enhancing their problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Key figures such as Janet Ivy from Janet’s Planet and representatives from WWF Pakistan will provide expert talks, inspiring students with real-world insights into space science and environmental sustainability. A unique opportunity awaits the winning team, which will be awarded a free team number from Destination Imagination Pakistan and a chance to compete in the Destination Imagination National Finals. CWPK is proud to be on board as a Technology Media Partner.

This collaborative learning experience not only focuses on developing STEM skills but also emphasizes teamwork and creative problem-solving. By presenting their final Mars exploration projects, participants will showcase innovative solutions and gain exposure to the limitless possibilities in space and STEM education.

NASTP Space Camp seeks to raise awareness of STEM education and space exploration, fostering a new generation of thinkers who are eager to tackle challenges in the fields of science and technology. Through interactive learning, expert engagement, and the use of advanced technologies, this initiative provides a comprehensive and inspiring platform for students to pursue careers in STEM fields.

CWPK Legacy
Launched in 1967 internationally, ComputerWorld is the oldest tech magazine/media property in the world. In Pakistan, ComputerWorld was launched in 1995. Initially providing news to IT executives only, once CIO Pakistan, its sister brand from the same family, was launched and took over the enterprise reporting domain in Pakistan, CWPK has emerged as a holistic technology media platform reporting everything tech in the country. It remains the oldest continuous IT publishing brand in the country and in 2025 is set to turn 30 years old, which will be its biggest benchmark and a legacy it hopes to continue for years to come. CWPK is part of the SPIN/IDG Wakhan media umbrella.
