Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) has announced a groundbreaking partnership with the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) to establish the Pakistan Mathematics Olympiad (PMO).

LUMS has meticulously crafted a specialized syllabus and model question paper to guide students in their preparation for the PMO. The competition is open to students from all educational streams across Pakistan, including SSC, O Level, HSSC, A Level, and equivalent qualifications.

To incentivize exceptional mathematical achievement, the PMO will offer substantial prizes, including cash awards, medals, laptops, and scholarships to top-ranked universities in Pakistan. These rewards aim to inspire a new generation of problem-solvers and critical thinkers, fostering a culture of academic excellence and innovation.

The registration for the Pakistan Mathematics Olympiad will begin in mid-September 2024 exclusively on the FBISE website. Students are encouraged to register promptly to seize this opportunity to showcase their mathematical skills and gain national recognition.

For further details on the registration process and competition information, interested participants can visit the official FBISE website.
