Punjab government has introduced a 10% discount on vehicle token tax for citizens who pay through the ePay Punjab app.

The initiative aims to reduce the burden on taxpayers by providing a convenient and efficient method for settling their tax obligations. By opting for the online payment method, residents can save time and money while contributing to the government’s push towards a cashless economy.

The ePay Punjab app allows users to pay a variety of taxes and fees, including vehicle token tax, property tax, and other government dues. The 10% discount is valid until September 30, 2024, encouraging citizens to take advantage of this opportunity.

The Punjab government believes that this incentive will not only boost digital adoption but also improve service delivery by reducing the number of people visiting government offices for tax-related matters.
