Jazz wins seven accolades at the 2023 Global Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Awards.

Islamabad – 06 January 2023: The VEON Group’s Jazz, Pakistan’s top digital operator, won seven prizes at the 2023 Global Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Benchmarks Awards.

The business was recognised for its innovative efforts in applying DEI as a strategy in regards to learning and development, communications, community integration, government relations, and philanthropic endeavours by receiving the “Best Practices” award. Jazz is a strong proponent of and contributor to the creation of an inclusive world and believes in building trust and acceptance.

Sanam Sheikh, Chief People Officer at Jazz, stated that inclusivity has always been at the core of all of the company’s policies. “Being recognised for our holistic D&I initiatives towards empowering the workplace renews our vigour as we move forward in our journey towards promoting diversity and inclusion at Jazz.

The GDEIB are the benchmarks used by organisations all around the world to guide businesses in developing their strategies and tracking their success in managing diversity and promoting inclusion. Diversity has always been valued and protected by Jazz, and the company has worked to present “Diversity, Equity & Inclusion” (DEI) as a competitive advantage. This has assisted Jazz in developing a better workplace that values sustainability.

In addition, Jazz is a signatory to the global Women’s Empowerment Principles, a set of guidelines for businesses on how to advance gender equality and women’s empowerment in the workplace, market, and community.
