Zong has officially announced the discontinuation of its 100 Seconds service, with the operator confirming the feature will no longer be available starting October 1, 2026. The company informed customers of the upcoming change through SMS notifications, thanking users for their participation and continued support over the years the service was active, though it did not provide a detailed explanation for the decision in its customer communication.

Alongside the discontinuation of the 100 Seconds service, Zong has also updated several other offerings across its prepaid portfolio. Effective September 18, the tariff for the Weather Walay Daily Service variant was revised to Rs. 6 plus applicable tax, marking one of several adjustments the operator has made to its existing service lineup as part of a broader restructuring of its prepaid offerings during this period.

In addition to these changes, Zong has introduced a new package option called the M Super Card Mini, which customers can subscribe to by dialing *4999# or through the MyZong App. The new bundle is priced at Rs. 1,500 against load, carries a validity period of 30 days, and includes 4GB of data, 200 off-net minutes, and unlimited on-net minutes and SMS. This combination of data, voice, and messaging allowances positions the M Super Card Mini as a mid tier prepaid option aimed at users looking for a balance between data access and calling minutes within a single monthly bundle.

Zong has also announced a new international data rate of PKR 20 per MB for customers using their connection while traveling outside Pakistan, giving subscribers clarity on data costs while roaming internationally. These combined changes, spanning the discontinuation of an existing service, a tariff revision on a daily bundle, the launch of a new prepaid package, and updated international roaming rates, reflect Zong’s broader ongoing effort to revise its prepaid portfolio and associated services. The operator has continued notifying subscribers of these various updates directly through SMS, ensuring customers remain informed of tariff changes and new package options as the company continues adjusting its service lineup.
