YouTube Launches Premium and Music Services in Pakistan, Elevating Video and Music Enjoyment

KARACHI, PAKISTAN: YouTube has officially launched its Premium and Music services in Pakistan, offering users an enhanced viewing and music streaming experience.

 

YouTube Premium brings forth a seamless viewing encounter, free from ads, with features like background play and offline video downloads. Additionally, it includes YouTube Music Premium, granting users ad-free music, background play, and the ability to download music tracks.

 

YouTube Music, a dedicated music streaming app, offers an array of official songs, albums, playlists, artist radio, and an extensive collection of remixes, live performances, covers, and music videos.

 

Farhan S. Qureshi, Google’s Director for Pakistan, expressed excitement about the introduction of these services in a country where the creative industry is rapidly flourishing. As local artists continue to share their content on YouTube, their reach is expanding on a global scale. The launch of YouTube Music and YouTube Music Premium is seen as a pivotal step forward for Pakistan’s music industry.

 

The cost of YouTube Premium starts at Rs479 per month, while YouTube Music Premium is available from Rs299.00 per month. The services also offer family plans and specially tailored student plans to cater to a diverse range of users.

 

Zeeshan Chaudhry, Chief Operating Officer of EMI Pakistan, considers this launch a remarkable development for Pakistani music on the international stage. Xulfi, the Curator and Producer of Coke Studio Pakistan, shares his enthusiasm for YouTube Music’s arrival, recognizing the fresh opportunities it will provide to musicians and artists to reach a broader audience.

 

YouTube Premium boasts features such as ad-free viewing, background play, and offline video accessibility. Meanwhile, YouTube Music Premium offers users ad-free music, background play, and the option to download music tracks.

 

Eligible users can take advantage of a special introductory offer that provides 1 month free access to either YouTube Premium or YouTube Music Premium.

 

The YouTube Music app is readily available for download on both the Google Play Store and the iOS App Store, enabling users to enjoy an enriched music experience at their fingertips.
