Yango has partnered with Waada to introduce free Ride Insurance for its users. This comprehensive coverage is designed to ensure the safety of both passengers and partner drivers during their journeys.

Through this partnership, Waada will provide accident coverage to Yango users, including permanent disability, accidental medical reimbursement, and accidental death. For partner drivers, the insurance also covers damage to mobile phones during rides.

Miral Sharif, Yango’s Country Manager in Pakistan, emphasized the company’s commitment to safety, stating, “Yango is committed to going above and beyond to ensure that every journey is not just convenient but, above all, secure.”

Ishaq Kothawala, CEO of Waada, highlighted the significance of this partnership in making the ride-hailing ecosystem more secure and trustworthy. He noted that this is one of the largest embedded insurance schemes in Pakistan and could pave the way for similar initiatives in the future.

The partnership between Yango and Waada demonstrates a strong commitment to improving safety standards in Pakistan’s ride-hailing industry. Yango has also implemented other safety features such as an SOS button, real-time trip sharing, and emergency situation buttons to ensure the well-being of its users.

By offering free Ride Insurance and prioritizing safety features, Yango aims to provide a secure and reliable ride-hailing experience for its customers in Pakistan.
