Xenith PR, a Pakistani public relations and corporate communications firm, has announced a partnership with the Institute of Business Management to launch a three month Certificate in Strategic Communications and Digital Media, a program designed to equip students and professionals with practical skills relevant to corporate markets. The certificate course follows an earlier partnership Xenith PR established with Greenwich University last year to launch a diploma program, and extends a similar approach to a new cohort of students and working professionals through the collaboration with the Institute of Business Management.

Raheel Nabi, Director and Chief Executive of Xenith PR, said the program reflects the firm’s belief that real world knowledge needs to be built into classroom learning to meet the demands of an evolving industry. He said the partnership with the Institute of Business Management is intended to bridge the gap between academic learning and practical execution, equipping professionals with tools and an adaptable mindset suited to Pakistan’s corporate communications landscape. The course is delivered across six modules over three months and draws on Xenith PR’s three decades of experience in corporate communications work.

Participants completing the program are expected to gain practical exposure to media relations, brand strategy, crisis communications, digital marketing, and the use of artificial intelligence in communications work, areas the firm says typically take years to develop through on the job experience alone. Nabhan Shah Karim, Head of Department for Marketing and Communications at the Institute of Business Management, said short and current courses have become central to success in corporate communications, adding that the partnership is meant to help students begin building career relevant skills while still in the classroom.

Enrollment for the certificate program is scheduled to open on September 23, 2026, with classes expected to begin the same month at the Institute of Business Management’s Karachi campus. The partnership adds to a series of academic collaborations Pakistani communications and marketing firms have pursued in recent years, as universities look to incorporate industry informed, skills focused coursework alongside traditional academic programs in fields tied to corporate and digital communications.
