Warid was in talks with Etisalat for possible acquisition but it has recently been called off. Shareholders of Warid telecom believe that the company has strong grounds in Pakistan and it can be bettered with further development and growth.
Online Verification for Bikes
Government of Sindh’s excise and Taxation Department has started online registration of motor bikes that are registered in Sindh. Online verification for four-wheelers was already in operation since 2012. Now people can enter the registration number of their bikes or cars to get the information online.
