Jazz has recently announced the establishment of a new vertical called the “Digital Financial Services”, it is reported that Mr. Nadeem Sheikh is to serve as its head. Meanwhile, the local news also states that Nadeem Sheikh will also be heading JazzCash and replace Aamer Ejaz.
Nadeem Sheikh is an alumni of the London Business School and has an excellent track record of delivery in areas such as including technology, financial services and private equity sectors. Nadeem Sheikh, previously headed Anthemis Group, a VC firm specializing in fintechs.
However, according to the telecom, Aamer Ejaz who has been an essential part of JazzCash’s recent growth is to continue to work for DFS at Jazz and will be reporting to Nadeem Sheikh. Mr. Ejaz is to hold the portfolio of CDO, and will be heading digital initiatives and will directly report to Aamir Ibrahim.
