The tournament also consisted of different console, arcade and mobile gaming competitions for various participants. The entire tournament was broadcast live for 50 days via Gamebird’s YouTube and Facebook channels.

Through which customers can buy apps and make in-app purchases using their Telenor Mobile balance and continue to enjoy premium services.

Speaking on the occasion, Sardar Abubakr, Chief Digital and Strategy Office at Telenor Pakistan said, “Congratulations to all victorious teams for winning at Pakistan’s largest PC gaming tournament. As staunch advocates of the growth of digital technology and innovation, Telenor Pakistan has been nurturing local talent within the online gaming space. GameBird previously also hosted Pakistan’s first online game summit last year. Through more of such measures, we will continue supporting the growth of the Pakistani gaming landscape by providing our youth with robust platforms to showcase their talent.”

Furthermore, Game Fest 2018 is the second installment of future gaming tournaments that GameBird has organized in Pakistan. The first gaming tournament by GameBird was ‘GameBird Lan Clan’ that took place in July 2018.
