Wateen has strengthened its collaboration with Jazz by providing its Fiber To The Street expertise to support the deployment of 4,000 FTTS sites across Pakistan. This initiative has helped establish a high-performance fiber infrastructure designed to enhance digital connectivity and expand broadband access nationwide. By leveraging its technical expertise and resilient network capabilities, Wateen has contributed significantly to creating a robust backbone for Jazz’s telecom operations, supporting both current services and future network developments.

The partnership reflects a strategic focus on improving fiber access to urban and suburban areas, where demand for reliable and high-speed internet continues to grow. Wateen’s role in the rollout included planning, installation, and integration of FTTS nodes with existing infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and seamless connectivity. This effort underlines the company’s commitment to advancing Pakistan’s broadband ecosystem while facilitating the efficient delivery of digital services to businesses and consumers alike.

As digital adoption accelerates, the collaboration between Wateen and Jazz positions Pakistan to handle future network demands. The deployment of these 4,000 FTTS sites provides a foundation not only for improved broadband experiences today but also for enabling next-generation technologies. The initiative prepares the network for 5G readiness, allowing Jazz to scale operations and integrate advanced mobile services without major overhauls to existing infrastructure. By focusing on scalable fiber expansion, the companies aim to maintain competitive service quality while supporting growing data consumption trends across the country.

Officials at Wateen emphasized that the collaboration with Jazz demonstrates the importance of technical partnerships in developing national digital infrastructure. Through shared expertise and coordinated efforts, the two companies have ensured that the rollout meets both operational and quality standards. Looking forward, Wateen intends to continue supporting Jazz in further FTTS expansions and network enhancements, reinforcing Pakistan’s position in regional digital connectivity. This partnership illustrates how targeted infrastructure projects can facilitate both immediate broadband access improvements and long-term readiness for emerging telecom technologies.
