Virtual University of Pakistan has opened enrollment for a set of industry-recognised certification courses delivered through Cisco Networking Academy and AWS Academy, giving students, working professionals, and aspiring career changers access to globally validated credentials in networking, cybersecurity, and cloud computing at heavily subsidised local pricing. Registration closes on June 30, 2026, and interested applicants can enroll at https://vu.edu.pk/netacad or reach out to netacadsupport@vu.edu.pk for further information.

The course catalogue is structured around the specific technical domains that currently command the highest demand and earning potential in both Pakistan’s domestic job market and the international freelance and remote work economy. The Cisco Certified Network Associate course, spanning four months at a fee of Rs8,000, remains one of the most widely recognised entry-level networking certifications globally, providing the foundational knowledge required for roles in network administration and infrastructure management. The Cyber Ops Associate course, running two months at Rs6,000, addresses the growing demand for security operations skills as organisations across Pakistan and globally scale up their cybersecurity defences. Endpoint Security, also a two-month course priced at Rs6,000, covers the protection of individual devices and access points within a broader network security framework.

On the cloud computing side, the AWS Cloud Foundations course runs two months at Rs6,000 and serves as an introductory pathway into Amazon Web Services’ cloud infrastructure ecosystem, while the more advanced AWS Cloud Architecting course spans three months at Rs20,000, targeting those ready to design and deploy production-grade cloud architecture. Cloud computing skills in particular have seen sustained demand growth as Pakistani companies and government institutions increasingly migrate workloads to cloud infrastructure, with AWS remaining the dominant global cloud platform that most enterprise employers expect candidates to have direct working knowledge of. Participants who complete these courses receive world-class certification recognised by Cisco and AWS, backed by discounted vouchers that make the credentials significantly more accessible than pursuing them independently through commercial channels, positioning Virtual University’s offering as a practical bridge between academic study and the specific technical competencies that employers across networking, cybersecurity, and cloud computing are actively hiring for.
