Uzbekistan and Pakistan are entering a promising new phase in their technology partnership, marked by expanding business ties and a shared commitment to digital growth. As regional collaboration gains momentum, both nations are focusing on strengthening their innovation ecosystems and supporting companies looking to operate across borders. To further this engagement, the upcoming webinar titled “Uzbekistan–Pakistan Tech Bridge: Expanding Business with IT Park Uzbekistan” will be held on November 11, 2025. The event aims to highlight the growing potential for cross-border partnerships, providing Pakistani technology firms with valuable insights into the Uzbek market and the broader Central Asian digital landscape.

The relationship between Pakistan’s tech sector and Uzbekistan’s rapidly developing digital ecosystem has seen steady progress over the past year. The number of Pakistani companies expanding their operations in Uzbekistan has more than doubled, underscoring the growing trust and synergy between the two markets. This upward trend reflects a strong alignment in economic priorities, as both nations seek to position themselves as competitive players in the regional digital economy. Uzbekistan’s open business policies and Pakistan’s dynamic IT and BPO sector have created fertile ground for cooperation that benefits companies on both sides.

The webinar will outline a series of strategic incentives offered by Uzbekistan to attract digital businesses and foreign investors. Among the most notable are the 0% tax environment for IT, BPO, and consulting firms, which is set to remain in effect until 2040. Additionally, participants will learn about the country’s liberalized financial framework that allows seamless capital movement, making cross-border transactions and investments more efficient. Uzbekistan’s nearshore location, cultural similarities, and direct flight connections with Pakistan also make it an appealing destination for companies looking to expand regionally. Complementing these advantages is a one-year free office program, which includes full onboarding support and an IT visa designed to facilitate the entry of specialists and executives.

Startups and innovators stand to gain significantly from this collaboration. Uzbekistan’s technology ecosystem offers access to over $180 million in venture capital through 15 active VC funds. Startups from Pakistan can explore opportunities to scale in markets such as the United States, Europe, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and China through acceleration programs and participation in global exhibitions. These prospects position Uzbekistan not merely as a destination for business expansion but as a regional gateway that connects Pakistan’s tech community to international markets.

The “Uzbekistan–Pakistan Tech Bridge” webinar represents a timely opportunity for companies, entrepreneurs, and investors to explore mutually beneficial growth channels. It reflects a broader trend of increasing cooperation between Central and South Asia in the technology and innovation space.
