As of July 25, 2022, Islamabad Local residents in Murree have received pushcarts and food booths as gifts from the Pakistani telecom company Ufone 4G, which would help them provide a good life for their family.

The program’s goal is to have a shared impact on society, and the project is an extension of that goal for Ufone 4G.
During a ceremony held at Murree Hills Cantonment, Station Commander Murree gave the pushcarts and food stands to worthy locals.

Along with other senior corporate executives, Cantonment Executive Officer Murree Hills Cantonment, Arfeen Zubair, Group Head PR and Corporate Communication for PTCL & Ufone, government representatives, local leaders, and media representatives, they all attended the occasion.

Amir Pasha, Group Head PR and Corporate Communication PTCL & Ufone, expressed his support for the project by saying,

“We are delighted to provide a helping hand to Murree’s local community so they can enhance their incomes and economic conditions.”

They put in a lot of effort, and we think that giving them a little push will help them attain financial security and prosperity in their life. Since Ufone 4G is a Pakistani firm, it is constantly looking for ways to generate value for its customers, he continued.

“I applaud Ufone 4G on behalf of the entire local Murree community for offering a helping hand when it was most needed,”

remarked Arfeen Zubair, Cantonment Executive Officer of Murree Hills Cantonment, during her speech at the occasion.

“It is encouraging to see a major telecom company taking action to promote welfare and social wellbeing in society. It creates a good example for other private sector companies to step up and do social good for the communities they serve, he continued.”

Along with utilising its core skills for social benefit, Ufone 4G also runs a comprehensive social responsibility programme to give back to the neighbourhood.

The CSR programme places a specific emphasis on giving underprivileged groups in society socioeconomic chances so they can develop and prosper on par with their fellow citizens. The business keeps looking for ways to have a positive impact on society as a whole.
