Ufone 4G, a Pakistani telecom company, is stepping up to provide free calls in flood-affected areas to establish crucial connectivity between affected individuals, their loved ones, and rescue personnel in order to facilitate relief activities. This initiative enables Ufone 4G users to make free calls from Ufone-to-Ufone and on PTCL numbers within the flood-affected districts. The offer is available for both prepaid and postpaid customers, who can access this service by dialing *4357#.

Currently, this initiative covers Ufone 4G users in multiple districts, including Barkhan, Sibi, Kalat, Matiari, Bolan, Jacobabad, and many others. Hatem Bamatraf, President & Group CEO of PTCL & Ufone, emphasized the company’s commitment to support the affected community. He acknowledged the magnitude of the devastation and recognized that many people in the disaster-hit districts may not have access to mobile recharge. The provision of free calls aims to assist not only family and friends but also authorities and relief workers in connecting with those in urgent need of rescue and relief.

Ufone 4G, as part of the PTCL Group, takes great pride in its Pakistani identity and considers it a national responsibility to reach out to people in distress. The group is undertaking multiple initiatives to support flood-affected communities and fulfill its commitment to promoting social well-being, both during emergencies and in peacetime.
