Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) continues to dominate the semiconductor industry, with its advanced 3nm and 5nm process nodes driving unprecedented demand and revenue. The company’s ability to capitalize on the growing AI market and secure major customers like Apple and NVIDIA has positioned it for continued success.

In just three quarters, TSMC has generated a staggering NT$1 trillion (approximately $31 billion) from its 3nm and 5nm processes alone. This remarkable achievement highlights the company’s technological leadership and ability to meet the increasing demand for high-performance semiconductors.

The second quarter of 2024 was particularly strong for TSMC, with revenue soaring to NT$336.7 billion, representing a 40% increase from the previous quarter. This surge can be attributed to the growing adoption of TSMC’s advanced nodes by companies involved in AI development and other cutting-edge technologies.

Looking ahead, TSMC’s momentum is expected to continue, with projected revenue from 3nm and 5nm processes reaching NT$754 billion ($23 billion) in the next quarter. Major customers like Apple and NVIDIA are driving this demand, as they prepare to launch new products that utilize TSMC’s advanced manufacturing capabilities.

TSMC’s dominance in the semiconductor industry is a testament to its technological prowess and ability to deliver high-quality, efficient products. As the company continues to invest in research and development, we can expect to see even more innovative process nodes and products emerge in the future.
