Telenor has introduced Talkshawk Mahana Rakhwala offer.  According to this offer, you will have to pay Rs. 350 (Rs. 418 after paying the taxes.) and you will get 3000 on net minutes, 3000 SMS and 300 MBs of internet free.

April 23: the Day for Slaughter

The spectrum auction advisory committee announced that the auction for 3G and 4G (LTE) services had been set for April 23, 2014.  Dar stressed that PTA should ensure the best international standards for the auction and added that the whole process should be transparent. PTA was also directed by the committee to launch a public awareness campaign about the auction and the services.

PTCL Goes Green

Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) organized ‘Eco-Hike and Tree Plantation Drive’ in the Margalla Hills to raise awareness about preservation and protection of environment.The event was held as part of PTCL’s ‘Go Green’ vision which emphasizes the importance of keeping the surroundings clean. More than 230 hikers including PTCL employees and students participated in the hike.

Punjab Youth Festival and Microsoft String in

Microsoft Pakistan is to organize Windows 8.1 Hackathon as technology partners at the “Punjab Youth Festival 2014” on 15th and 16th March 2014 at Gymnasium, Opposite to the National Hockey Stadium in Lahore. The Windows 8.1 App development Hackathon is a project of Microsoft, aimed at students and developers, to learn new app development skills to help them compete in the technological market. Around 600 participants across the country are expected at the event.
