Punjab government has made a breakthrough in encouraging e-learning by developing a platform where students will be able to gain access to textbooks, videos, tutorials etc. for free. PITB’s platform is specially designed for students appearing for Punjab Education Board. There are overall 1744 videos, 369 simulations and 1700 pages of content available for Chemistry, Biology, Physics and Maths.

Smart Home With Samsung

Samsung announced a new platform that will enable users to manage all of their connected appliances and devices from a single application. The platform, called “Samsung Smart Home,” is set to debut at CES 2014 in Las Vegas, with a planned roll-out during the first half of the year. The service will also allow you to use voice commands with your Galaxy Gear or Smart TV remote.

PTCL Brushes up Close to the Youth

PTCL held an innovative program for children of PTCL employees, aimed towards nurturing the children to be more responsible, creative and tolerant of differences. The objective of the day was to increase the ability of the children to think for themselves, take initiatives, get along with others and solve problems by recognizing the potentials that they are gifted with. It ended with distribution of certificates.

Two games by LittleBigPlanet for acronym LBP were trademarked by Sony. Media Molecule was working on these two games since a long time. The first one is provided on internet and second, is games software.

Yahoo Account Holders Suffer From Malware Except in U.S.

Malicious software is infecting thousands or millions of Yahoo account holders except the users in USA who are still safe. Hackers hijacked the ad server of Yahoo to spread the malware. Yahoo has declared that the situation is now under control.

Lenovo Launched 19.5-inch N308 AIO Desktop at CES 2014

Lenovo’s Tablet looks like a giant tablet which is basically an all-in-one desktop run through Android. This desktop was prominent in CES 2014 because of memory up to 2GB, 16GB of eMMC storage, and a 320GB or 500GB 5,400rpm hard drive.
