TerraBiz To Hold 1st Pakistan Mergers & Acquisitions Conference 2016 on Wednesday

Pakistan Mergers & Acquisitions Conference 2016 (PMAC’16) will be held on Wednesday, 7th December, at a local hotel in Karachi.

This day-long conference is being held in collaboration with KPMG as the conference knowledge Partner while the CFA Pakistan Society, Business Recorder and ProPakistani are the supporting, media and online media partners respectively. Simfotix, TerraBiz’s sister-concerned executive education company in Dubai, is the international partner for the event.

PMAC is being organized when Pakistan recorded a 4.7 Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth for FY 2016, the highest in last 8 years with a projection of 5.4 pc growth in 2018 by the World Bank. Keeping in mind a series of positive economic developments, many national and multinational companies today plan to increase and sustain their investments in Pakistan. M&A is one important strategy to this effect and will be discussed in great detail by the experts in the conference.

Hamza W. Hashmi, CEO, TerraBiz, while giving the details of the event said,

“The conference will be attended by over 250 professionals comprising of chartered accountants, investment bankers, CFOs, financial advisors, lawyers and transaction services professionals, private equity players, business owners, corporate development and M&A teams”.

PMAC is poised to become an event for the professionals who want to explore the art of successful M&A deal formation. Attendees will be presented with a number of keynote sessions and panel discussions highlighting the importance of mergers & acquisitions for Pakistan’s economy, global trends and key insights.

The moot will also explore the recent M&A deals and will bring the core learning outcomes into limelight. Role of advisors in M&A transactions and the regulatory regime will also be brought into discussion.
