Telenor Pakistan has reported a 6.7% year-on-year increase in revenue for the third quarter of 2024, reaching Rs. 30.11 billion. This growth comes amid challenging macroeconomic conditions and the ongoing divestment process.

The company’s strong performance was driven by a 11% increase in Average Revenue Per User (ARPU), primarily due to successful monetization strategies. Despite a decline in the subscriber base, Telenor Pakistan managed to achieve organic growth of 8%.

The company’s operational expenses increased by 6%, primarily due to lower fuel costs and the reversal of energy accruals. This, coupled with strong revenue growth, resulted in a 9% increase in EBITDA.

Telenor Pakistan remains a significant contributor to Telenor Asia’s overall performance, even as the company continues to navigate the complexities of the divestment process. The company is committed to delivering high-quality services and driving digital innovation in Pakistan.

Launched in 1967 internationally, ComputerWorld is the oldest tech magazine/media property in the world. In Pakistan, ComputerWorld was launched in 1995.
