In a bid to transform Pakistan’s agricultural landscape, Telenor Pakistan has announced the Telenor Velocity Innovation Challenge, inviting innovators and entrepreneurs to present groundbreaking tech-driven solutions. The challenge aims to modernize farming practices and empower farmers across the country through advanced technology.

Call for Innovative Agricultural Solutions

The Innovation Challenge is focused on addressing key agricultural challenges through cutting-edge technology. Participants are encouraged to propose innovative solutions such as image recognition tools to detect crop diseases, AI-driven productivity boosters, and advanced chatbots for real-time farmer support. These technologies have the potential to revolutionize farming methods, making agriculture more efficient and resilient.

Telenor’s extensive network, reaching over 20 million farmers across Pakistan, offers a robust platform for implementing the best solutions. Innovators who participate in the challenge will have the opportunity to access Telenor’s network for testing and deploying their solutions at scale. Benefits for innovators include:

  • November 30, 2024: Deadline for idea or prototype submissions
  • January 15, 2025: Deadline for MVP submissions
