The TECNO POVA Curve 2 5G is reportedly set to launch soon in Pakistan, according to industry sources, marking what would be the first major release from the long awaited POVA series in the country. The device was initially announced globally in February 2026 and has remained unreleased in Pakistan since then, but sources suggest a local rollout is now imminent, with the smartphone expected to focus heavily on battery endurance and premium display features for the mid-range segment.

Current market estimates put the expected starting price in Pakistan between Rs. 115,000 and Rs. 125,000, though some local market reports suggest pricing could reach as high as Rs. 130,000 depending on the specific variant and retail availability. At this pricing, the device would be positioned to compete directly with other mid-range offerings while including some higher end specifications typically found on pricier phones. The device is expected to be available in Silver, Purple, and Titanium color options.

The standout feature of the TECNO POVA Curve 2 5G is its 8000mAh Li-Po battery, intended to support extended gaming sessions and prolonged media use without frequent recharging. The device supports 45W wired fast charging, with TECNO claiming the battery can reach 50 percent charge in just 36 minutes, along with bypass charging technology designed to reduce heat buildup during extended use. Powering the device is a MediaTek Dimensity 7100 chipset built on a 6nm process, paired with a Mali-G610 MC2 GPU, running Android 16 with TECNO’s HIOS 16 interface on top. Buyers will reportedly be able to choose between 8GB or 12GB of RAM paired with either 128GB or 256GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage, though the device does not include a memory card slot for storage expansion.

Despite the large battery, the phone maintains a relatively slim profile at 162.7 x 77.2 x 7.4mm and weighs 195 grams, with an IP64 rating providing protection against dust and water splashes. The front features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display supporting 1 billion colors, a 144Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of up to 4500 nits, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i rated for drops of up to 1.5 meters, along with an under-display fingerprint sensor. On the camera side, the device features a dual rear setup with a 50MP primary wide lens with PDAF and an f/1.8 aperture, paired with a 2MP macro lens, capable of recording video at up to 1440p resolution. The front camera is rated at 13MP for selfies and video calls at 1080p. The phone includes Dolby Atmos stereo speakers with Hi-Res audio support, though it lacks a 3.5mm headphone jack, while connectivity options include dual Nano-SIM support, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, an infrared port, and 5G support across both standalone and non-standalone network modes.
