TECNO and Infinix have both announced free three-month Google AI Plus trials for users of eligible devices in Pakistan, giving smartphone buyers access to Google’s full artificial intelligence productivity and creativity suite including 2 terabytes of cloud storage at no additional cost. The Google AI Plus plan includes 2 terabytes of cloud storage, Gemini in Gmail, image generation and edits through Nano Banana 2, and a more tailored study experience through Gemini and NotebookLM, with the offer designed to accelerate mobile artificial intelligence adoption in emerging markets and complement the existing artificial intelligence features already built into both brands’ device lineups.

The offer is available to users who purchased an eligible TECNO device in Pakistan from May 14, 2026 to June 6, 2027. Eligible TECNO devices include the CAMON 50 Series, covering the CAMON 50 Ultra 5G, CAMON 50 Pro, and CAMON 50, with upcoming models launching later in the year also set to be covered under the same offer. The Google AI Plus trial is rolling out through an over-the-air software update beginning May 25, 2026, and eligible users can redeem the offer through the Gemini application or the Google One application by following the on-screen instructions. A qualifying payment method is required at registration, and users retain the flexibility to cancel the subscription at any time before the trial period ends to avoid being charged the standard monthly rate.

Infinix has announced the same three-month Google AI Plus trial for users of eligible Infinix devices including the NOTE 60 Series, GT 50 Pro, NOTE Edge, HOT 70 Series, and SMART 20. The plan gives access to Gemini, Nano Banana 2, and NotebookLM alongside 2 terabytes of cloud storage, delivering advanced digital experiences directly to Infinix users at no extra cost. Infinix framed the announcement as part of its effort to make advanced artificial intelligence tools and experiences more accessible to users across emerging markets as artificial intelligence continues to play an increasingly important role in how people learn, create, and stay productive.

The simultaneous offer from both TECNO and Infinix, both of which fall under the Transsion Holdings portfolio, signals a coordinated push by the group to differentiate its devices through bundled artificial intelligence services at a time when Google AI Plus is rapidly expanding its subscriber base globally. For Pakistani consumers who purchase devices in the mid-range and upper-budget segments where both TECNO and Infinix compete, the three-month Google AI Plus trial with 2 terabytes of storage represents meaningful value addition, particularly given that Google One storage and Gemini Advanced subscriptions carry a cost that many users in emerging markets have been reluctant to pay independently. After the three-month trial concludes, users will be charged at the standard monthly Google AI Plus rate applicable in their location unless they cancel beforehand.
