The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan has announced the launch of applications for PIXS 2026 Pakistan IT Exports Showcase, a flagship national initiative aimed at promoting Pakistan’s IT enabled exports on a global stage. The announcement was shared at the start of the new year, positioning PIXS 2026 as a major opportunity for Pakistani startups seeking international exposure, investment, and export driven growth. Designed to bring together innovation, entrepreneurship, and global market access, the initiative focuses on empowering technology led businesses with scalable and export ready solutions.

PIXS 2026 is structured as a competitive platform that connects selected startups with international investors, leading accelerators, diplomatic networks, trade missions, and technology innovators. According to TDAP, the program is intended to showcase Pakistan’s most promising startups and highlight the country’s growing capabilities in IT enabled services and digital solutions. Participating startups will gain access to mentorship, training support, accelerator pathways, and sponsored participation in international technology exhibitions. The initiative also provides opportunities to engage directly with Pakistan’s network of over 60 trade missions, enabling international business linkages and market exploration across multiple regions.

The competition will unfold through curated regional rounds held across Pakistan, allowing startups from various innovation hubs to participate. These regional rounds will evaluate business models, export readiness, and global scalability, with top performing startups advancing to the national stage. Finalists selected through this process will earn the opportunity to present their solutions at the PIXS 2026 Grand Finale scheduled for 12 February 2026. The finale will feature live pitches before a distinguished international audience comprising investors, diplomats, corporate leaders, trade delegates, and technology experts. TDAP stated that this platform is designed to help startups secure partnerships, visibility, and institutional support at an international level.

PIXS 2026 specifically targets startups with strong export potential or solutions that can scale across global markets. The initiative reflects TDAP’s broader strategy to position Pakistan as a competitive provider of IT enabled services and technology driven exports. By connecting local startups with global stakeholders, the program aims to bridge gaps between innovation and international commercialization. Selected participants will also benefit from recognition and government backed support, further strengthening their credibility when engaging with overseas partners and customers.

In a key update, TDAP confirmed that application deadlines for PIXS 2026 have been extended, providing additional time for eligible startups to submit their entries. This extension is expected to encourage wider participation from early stage and growth stage companies working across software development, digital platforms, artificial intelligence, fintech, health tech, edtech, and other IT enabled domains. Startups are encouraged to apply promptly to secure consideration, as selection will be competitive and based on export readiness, innovation, and market relevance.

PIXS has previously served as a platform to project Pakistan’s technology sector to international audiences, and the 2026 edition continues that focus with an emphasis on global integration and export led growth. Through structured competition, international exposure, and targeted support, PIXS 2026 aims to strengthen the pipeline of Pakistani startups capable of competing in international markets. TDAP stated that the initiative aligns with national objectives to increase IT exports, diversify export portfolios, and support entrepreneurship as a driver of economic growth in the digital economy.
