Synergy Advertising has become the first and only advertising agency in Pakistan to win the Asian Federation of Advertising Associations Brilliance Award for two consecutive years, a distinction that marks a notable achievement for the country’s creative industry at the regional level. The agency secured the recognition in the Food and Beverages category for its campaign titled “Cheezy Rider to the Rescue,” developed for Cheezious, a local Pakistani pizza brand, reinforcing Synergy Group’s standing as one of the more competitive creative outfits operating out of South Asia.

The AFAA Brilliance Awards are presented by the Asian Federation of Advertising Associations and judged by an international panel that evaluates campaigns on the basis of creative excellence alongside measurable business impact. The awards are widely regarded as one of Asia’s more demanding industry accolades, with entries assessed not purely on the strength of an idea but on the tangible results a campaign delivers for the brand it represents. Pakistan has maintained a presence on the AFAA platform over the years, but consecutive wins of this nature remain rare, making Synergy Group’s back-to-back recognition particularly significant within the context of the country’s advertising landscape.

Ahmed Hussain Kapadia, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Synergy Group, described the milestone as deeply personal, noting that when the agency was founded nearly three decades ago, there was a clear vision of where the organization wanted to go. He said that standing as the only agency in Pakistan to have won the AFAA Brilliance Award for two consecutive years is both a moment of pride and a reminder of that journey, and attributed the recognition to the passion and commitment of the agency’s people. The achievement is being viewed within the industry as a signal of increasing global visibility for Pakistani creative work, particularly in markets where long-term effectiveness and sustained impact remain the primary benchmarks by which campaigns are judged. For Synergy Group, the consecutive win reflects a consistency in execution that sets it apart from its peers not just domestically but across the broader Asian advertising market.
