Symmetry Group Limited reported a 26 percent increase in its consolidated net profit for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2026, reaching Rs215.28 million compared to Rs170.47 million, restated, in the preceding year. Alongside the financial results, the company declared a dividend of Rs0.1 per share. Reflecting this performance, basic and diluted earnings per share for the year expanded to Rs0.76, up from Rs0.60 in FY25.

The primary catalysts behind the performance were strong top line revenue growth across digital and technology services and an expansion in gross profit. Net revenue grew by 34 percent year on year to Rs1.03 billion, up from Rs767.42 million in FY25. Although the cost of services rose 50 percent to Rs526.37 million, gross profit still expanded 19 percent to Rs499.21 million compared to Rs417.61 million in the prior year, indicating that revenue growth outpaced the increase in service delivery costs over the year.

On the operational front, administrative and selling expenses grew 12 percent to Rs226.29 million, up from Rs201.31 million in FY25. Supported by core volume gains, operating profit expanded 26 percent to Rs272.93 million. Below the operating line, Symmetry Group benefited from a 12 percent reduction in debt servicing outlays, with finance costs falling to Rs37.46 million, down from Rs42.75 million in FY25, giving the company some relief on its financing expenses even as other costs rose.

Coupled with a 32 percent boost in other income to Rs22.71 million, profit before taxation jumped 31 percent to Rs242.88 million after accounting for statutory levies of Rs12.86 million. The company absorbed a higher corporate taxation charge of Rs27.60 million for the year, up 81 percent from Rs15.26 million in FY25. Backed by 34 percent top line revenue growth, expanded gross margins, and reduced finance charges, Symmetry Group closed the fiscal year with its net profit reaching Rs215.28 million, with the group’s digital and technology services businesses, including subsidiaries such as Iris Digital and Aurion.AI, contributing to the overall revenue growth reported for the year.
