Applications have officially opened for Batch 2 of the SkillBridge Apprenticeship Program, offering recent IT graduates an opportunity to gain hands-on industry experience through a structured, paid training initiative. The program is positioned as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen Pakistan’s digital workforce by connecting young technology professionals with real-world projects and mentorship. According to the announced schedule, the application portal will remain accessible from January 26 to February 10, 2026, giving eligible candidates a limited window to register or update their profiles for consideration in the upcoming cohort.

SkillBridge is open to graduates who have completed their IT-related degrees within the last two years, with a minimum required CGPA of 2.5. The program is designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and professional practice, equipping participants with practical skills aligned with current industry needs. Through immersive training environments, apprentices are expected to work on live assignments, collaborate with experienced professionals, and gain exposure to workplace technologies that are increasingly shaping Pakistan’s digital economy. Organisers emphasize that the initiative aims to enhance employability while creating a pipeline of skilled talent for the technology sector.

Batch 2 of the apprenticeship is scheduled to begin on February 20, 2026, and will run for a period of six months. Participants selected for the program will receive a monthly stipend of PKR 30,000, making it a fully paid opportunity for graduates seeking to build professional experience without financial strain. The structured format is intended to support learning progression over the course of the apprenticeship, allowing individuals to develop both technical competencies and workplace skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, and project management. The combination of paid support and practical exposure has made the program increasingly attractive among early-career technology professionals.

New applicants are required to complete their registration through the official SkillBridge portal, while existing users are advised to log in and update their profiles to ensure they are considered for Batch 2 selection. Interested candidates can access the application platform at https://lnkd.in/d7xHFT_5 during the open registration period. With growing demand for skilled IT professionals across Pakistan’s expanding digital sector, initiatives like SkillBridge are playing a role in preparing graduates for employment in software development, data services, digital operations, and emerging technology fields. The program reflects broader efforts within the ecosystem to invest in youth talent and support the transition from education to productive participation in the technology-driven economy.
