In a significant advancement towards modernizing its operations, the Senate of Pakistan has introduced an E-Filing system as part of its initiative to transition to a paperless institution. The new system has been rolled out in a pilot phase across the Transport, Admin, Printing, and Publication branches of the Senate Secretariat.

Syed Hasnain Haider, Secretary of the Senate, praised the IT officials for their efforts in reaching this milestone and emphasized the need for the rapid digitalization of the Senate’s processes. The introduction of the E-Filing system is expected to enhance operational efficiency, streamline workflows, and significantly reduce the environmental impact associated with traditional paper-based methods.

Following the successful pilot, the E-Filing software will be expanded to additional branches within the Senate Secretariat. This initiative is a critical step toward fostering a more modern, efficient, and transparent legislative environment.

Senior officers of the Senate Secretariat were present at the launch event, marking the beginning of this pivotal digital transformation for the institution.
