RWA Tokenization Academy, in collaboration with REIT Academy Pakistan, is set to host a high-profile event at NIC Islamabad on December 19, 2025, beginning at 5:45 PM. The event aims to provide industry professionals, investors, and enthusiasts with insights into Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) and the emerging concept of Real Estate Tokens (RETs), highlighting opportunities for both private and sovereign asset development in Pakistan. The event will be held at Nexus Hall in NIC Islamabad and features a comprehensive program designed to cover thought leadership, industry trends, and practical applications of digital real estate instruments.

The session will open with networking and registration, followed by an introduction to both REIT Academy and RWA Tokenization Academy, setting the stage for a detailed exploration of modern real estate financing mechanisms. Attendees will gain exposure to the frameworks and educational initiatives being developed to integrate traditional and tokenized real estate investment in Pakistan. The introduction segment will provide participants with an overview of ongoing efforts to bridge the gap between conventional property markets and digital investment platforms, emphasizing the educational role of both academies in preparing stakeholders for the future of real estate development.

A thought leadership talk by Sanie Khan, Anchor of Inside Financial Markets on GTV Network, will delve into the role of REITs and RETs in shaping the real estate landscape in Pakistan. Khan will discuss how these instruments can facilitate investment in infrastructure projects and commercial property development while providing investors with liquidity, transparency, and regulatory compliance. Following this, Naeem Ilyas Khanani, Program Director at REIT Academy, will participate in a fireside chat moderated by Arshad Awan, examining the potential of REITs to drive sustainable real estate and infrastructure development across Pakistan. The session will explore practical case studies, regulatory considerations, and emerging market opportunities, demonstrating how REITs can attract both domestic and international investors while supporting large-scale projects efficiently.

The event will also feature a dedicated session on real estate tokenization, led by Engr. Naeem Khanani, CEO of DigiEstate and RWA Tokenization Academy. This discussion will focus on the application of blockchain technology for tokenizing private and sovereign real estate assets, enabling fractional ownership, increased liquidity, and enhanced transparency in property markets. Attendees will be able to explore the technical and operational considerations of implementing tokenization platforms, including legal frameworks, market adoption, and technological infrastructure. The program emphasizes bridging traditional real estate practices with innovative digital solutions, highlighting the academy’s role in educating investors and professionals about new tools for real estate development and investment.

By bringing together thought leaders, regulators, and investors, the RWA Tokenization Academy and REIT Academy event at NIC Islamabad seeks to foster dialogue and collaboration that can shape Pakistan’s real estate and infrastructure sectors. Participants can expect in-depth discussions, networking opportunities, and exposure to the latest trends in both conventional and digital real estate investment. This initiative reflects a growing focus on leveraging technology and innovation to enhance the efficiency, accessibility, and transparency of property investment in Pakistan while preparing the next generation of professionals for emerging market practices.
